As Angel City FC is set to begin its inaugural season, goalkeeper DiDi Haracic joins the Urban Pitch Podcast to discuss how the team has jelled so far, her LA experience, and the evolution of both her soccer and photography careers.
After a breakout 2021 season with Gotham FC, DiDi Haracic finds herself in a new, sunnier locale in 2022. Traded to NWSL expansion side Angel City FC last December, Haracic, a self-proclaimed beach bum, is understandably comfortable in her new home, and will look to make an impact for the first-year club in between the posts.

As we profiled last October, Haracic is also a professional photographer, specializing in product and landscape photography. But since we last spoke to her, she’s started to get into music photography, and has already hit a few concerts since moving to LA.
For our latest podcast episode, Haracic sat down with co-hosts Ramsey Abushahla and Julio Monterroza to discuss the first-year atmosphere at Angel City FC, getting acclimated to the LA lifestyle, and why focusing on her mental health has paid off dividends in both of her careers.
