An In-Game Playlist for Inter Miami, Curated By Stadium DJ Vala Nirenberg

A trip to an Inter Miami match last season inspired DJ Vala Nirenberg to create a playlist to take the club’s already vibrant stadium atmosphere to a new level.

Uruguayan DJ Vala Nirenberg knows a thing or two about creating a vibe in a football stadium. She’s been the official DJ for teams like Peñarol and the Uruguayan national team, and has no problem keeping fans both engaged and entertained over 90-plus minutes of action.

With this background, she tends to take in matches differently than others.

So when she visited Miami’s Chase Stadium for an Inter Miami match near the end of 2024, she was impressed by the atmosphere, but was keen to notice that there was room to kick things up a notch. Inspired by her trip, she’s prepared a playlist for the 2025 season that could get the vibes going after last year’s early playoff exit.

Now coached by Javier Mascherano but still led by Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets, Miami started the 2025 MLS season with a 2-2 draw to NYCFC over the weekend. Up next is the second leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup tie against Sporting Kansas City — which they’ll enter up 1-0 on aggregate — on February 25.

The goal remains the same — win as many trophies as possible, and above all else, bring home the MLS Cup. While we’ll have to wait and see if the club can achieve these lofty goals, listening to Nirenberg’s 47-track playlist, which truly captures the Inter Miami soundscape, will do for now.

The Inter Miami 2025 Playlist

Nirenberg’s eclectic track list features a mix of artists including Rosalia, Marc Anthony, Don Omar, Karol G, Bizarrap, David Guetta, Bad Bunny, and Coldplay, among many others.

“I made the playlist based on my experience of going to an Inter Miami game,” she said. “The club has everything set up for a ‘show.’ There are a lot of Latin songs, a lot of songs from Argentina, and a lot of classic American songs. There’s something for everyone: animations, lights, and something for every moment.”

Regarding the atmosphere at the stadium, Nirenberg pointed out, “The experience was great. The tickets are a bit expensive, but soccer in the U.S. is a show — a spectacle from start to finish. Once you’re in the stadium, everything is done for the comfort of the fans.”

What to Expect for Inter Miami in 2025

Inter Miami has a long season ahead of them. Much has been made of the lack of experience of Mascherano, and there is still concern about whether the older legs of the top players can withstand the long, hot summer of the MLS season.

One thing is for certain: listening to Nirenberg’s Inter Miami playlist will put many of those “issues” on the back burner as fans drive to the game, tailgate, and kick back to enjoy Miami for what it is — a city of fun, sun, and excitement.
