Delving into technical outerwear, Nivelcrack has dropped a winter-ready reversible down jacket that’s both bold and subdued.
In the summer of 2017, Nivelcrack teamed up with Angelo Trofa and Joma to create the stunning “Tigre Coreano” (Korean Tiger) jersey, which to this day remains one of the best lifestyle kits we’ve seen. A year-and-a-half later, the football-inspired label has returned to the tiger-striped pattern, this time on a down jacket that’s as functional as it is fashionable.
Incase you were looking for something more subtle, the jacket can be reversed into a starkly contrasting all-black side with a reflective Nivelcrack logo. Whichever way you wear it, you’ll be sure to turn some heads.
The jacket’s outer is both wind and waterproof, and it is stuffed with 800 fill power goose down and feathers to keep out the chill of the winter. Also fittingly included in the capsule is a new stadium scarf, complete with matching tiger-striped details.
The release is another W in Nivelcrack’s 2018, which has included a collaboration with K-League side Jeju United, a South Korean national team-inspired Red Devils capsule, and a fall line that included track pants derived from the iconic Mercurial boots worn by the OG Ronaldo.
Few labels can say they’ve done as much as Nivelcrack has this year, and we’re definitely excited for what’s to come in 2019.
