The latest episode of the Urban Pitch Podcast features AmirSaysNothing, who discusses his journey as an independent artist, working with rappers and producers he’s looked up to, and why he absolutely loves the tour life.
“I didn’t want to be another person who was like, ‘I tried making music for two years, and that shit didn’t go anywhere, so I stopped.'”
When it came to making music, it was all or nothing for AmirSaysNothing. He took the full plunge into rapping in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. In addition to the various albums, EPs, and singles he’s released, he’s also gone on several country-wide tours and worked with some of rap’s most illustrious names including Evidence, Mike Shinoda, Project Pat, and Slug of Atmosphere.
Amir’s experiences have naturally come with a treasure trove of stories, like the time where he met Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul in an empty bar in Los Angeles, or when he got a random FaceTime call from Project Pat.
He joins the Urban Pitch Podcast to share some of these with the Washed-Up Crew, in addition to dropping some gems about being an independent artist and the high octane nature of tour life.
