In the latest episode of the UP Podcast, Stix joins the Washed-Up Crew to discuss his growth as an artist and community leader, LAFC’s success this season (so far), and potential political aspirations.
Music artist. Community activist. Builder of schools. Stix is out here making a difference.
In the four years since we last had him on the Urban Pitch Podcast, Stix has blossomed through his work in the music industry, which includes creating theme songs for LAFC, the Rams, and Clippers, in addition to his ThinkWatts foundation, where he has put on several programs and initiatives to benefit the community in both short and long term ways.
The do-it-all Watts native has lofty aspirations for both himself and his foundation, and despite the success he’s seen so far (including getting to design his own Nike Air Force 1), Stix isn’t fully satisfied and continues to push forward.
He returns to the show to discuss his growth, the latest initiatives with ThinkWatts, and getting linked up with LA sports mainstays, in addition to dropping some knowledge bombs for anyone who wants to follow in his footsteps.
